About Our Team
Harold Galm
Broker
Butch has been in real estate since 1981 and has been the owner/broker of Galm Real Estate, LLC since 1991. A native of San Antonio area, Harold graduated from Marshall High School and grew up with a family in real estate, construction, farming and livestock. He completed his formal education at Texas A&M University receiving a Bachelor of Science and at Southwest Texas State University receiving a Master of Education. The Galm family has been serving the real estate industry in the greater San Antonio area for over forty (40) years.
Tad Wooten
Broker Associate
Tad is a 1973 graduate of Texas A&M University and has held a real estate broker’s license for the past 36 years. He retired from the banking business, with 27 years of service to Community National Bank of Hondo in executive management positions, including 20 years as C.E.O. of the bank. Tad has had significant prior experience in the real estate business, both from his financial institution perspective and as an investor. He has participated in the development of several small acreage tract subdivisions in Medina County over the last several years and remains actively involved in that area. Tad also has some real estate bloodlines, as his father the late Dr. Alvin B. (Pat) Wooten was the founding Director of the Real Estate Center at Texas A&M University.
Kari Galm Menchaca
Realtor
Kari Galm Menchaca has been involved in the real estate business since birth. Her father founded Galm Real Estate in 1981. She has admired her father’s knowledge, honesty and integrity which drew her to pursue a career in the family business.
Kari graduated from Angelo State University in 2008 with her Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science and also in 2010 with her Master’s Degree in Food Science. Upon graduation, Kari started a career with H-E-B Grocery Stores Research & Development. She carried out million-dollar projects as the R&D Manager for the fresh meat and deli departments. Through her time with H-E-B, she learned the value of client satisfaction while upholding integrity and honesty with employees she managed.
Kari left her position at H-E-B in 2016 to pursue real estate full time. She credits her experience with
H-E-B for instilling the characteristics and drive it takes to help her real estate clients achieve their dream of owning the perfect land, home, or business space.
Kari lives on their family farm near Lacoste, Texas with her husband, Chase, and their two daughters, Brylee (10) and Hadleigh (3). They own and operate M5 Hay Farm. In her spare time, she loves spending time with family & friends, being outdoors, attending events her children are participating in and living life to its fullest.
Diane Amberson
Realtor
Diane developed an interest in real estate while working for a developer and property management company in the San Antonio area for 18+ years. She also worked in the construction industry which allowed her to learn many aspects of construction. From land acquisitions, residential & multi-family construction, to new apartment project management, Diane is experienced in all of these areas! An employment opportunity brought Diane and her family to the Castroville area several years ago where she raised her children, Krista and Kenny. Diane’s husband, Jim, grew up in Hondo and they currently reside on the family ranch outside of D’Hanis. Medina County has been home to her and her family for 26 years. She has always enjoyed meeting new people and felt real estate would allow her the opportunity to help others. Her knowledge of the area and her 14+ years of experience in real estate allows her to assist both buyers and sellers with all their real estate needs. This includes residential, farm & ranch, and commercial real estate. She has been a licensed agent with Galm Real Estate since 2008.
When she is not assisting her clients, you can find her spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoys both fresh & saltwater fishing with her husband, antiquing, and crafting with her friends.

Becky Decker
Realtor
Becky is a recent resident of Medina County, moving from Houston where she was a full time Realtor® for the past 6 years. Although she’s lived here a short time, Becky has visited Medina County quite frequently in the past 10 years and has a good grasp on the people and real estate market in the area. Prior to becoming a Realtor®, Becky spent 10+ years in the construction/remodeling side of the real estate industry giving her a unique perspective on both new construction and older homes. Becky has used her knowledge to purchase and remodel several properties, the most recent being in the Quihi area where she resides with her husband JR and 3 year old daughter Sinclaire.
Becky is a member of the National Association of REALTORS®, Texas Association of REALTORS®, San Antonio Board of REALTORS®, and Houston Association of REALTORS®.
Outside of real estate, Becky loves spending time with her family and friends. If she’s not at the lake, you can find Becky enjoying live music, playing volleyball, working on her photography skills, or planning some sort of event or party.

Samantha Muller

Samantha Muller graduated from Texas A&M University in 2021 where she received her degree in Marketing at Mays Business School along with a Minor in Architecture.
Samantha knew that she wanted to pursue a career in the real estate industry upon graduation and tailored her education experience to assist those goals. She graduated from Hondo High School in 2017 and has always had a desire to return to the county that she held so close to her heart. Her passion for her hometown, property, design, and connecting with others made her decision to join Galm Real Estate an easy one. Samantha can’t wait to assist the Greater Medina County Area with all its real estate needs!
Outside of work, you can find Samantha working on the family cattle ranch, floating the Frio, or at the local Taqueria enjoying chips and queso!
Rebecca Galley
Emma Hecker

Emma graduated from Texas Tech University in May of 2021 with a degree in Marketing from The Rawls College of Business. She has two years experience in the student and multi-family residential housing field. Working as a leasing agent and leasing manager furthered her interest in taking the next step towards getting her real estate license. Emma was born and raised in Castroville and graduated from Medina Valley High School in 2018. After spending 4 years furthering her education and career in West/North Texas she decided to return to her roots and start her career in real estate.
Outside of work Emma loves to travel, she has been to 48 of the 50 states! She also loves to spend time at home with her family and friends completing puzzles and watching all of the new Netflix series.
Emma is excited to start her Real Estate career and use her advertising and leasing skills to market properties and find you your dream home/property!
